NRF Increases 2018 Sales Forecast

The National Retail Federation increased its retail sales forecast for 2018, noting that sales are expected to grow more than previously predicted thanks to tax reform and other positive economic inputs. NFR warned that tariffs threaten to dampen consumer confidence. Still, the NRF expects 2018 retail sales to increase at least 4.5%, higher than the initial forecast.
